We camped on Lake Michigan beside a channel. Moored at this channel is a WWII submarine that is open for tours.
Of course, you know I had a hand in picking this site...see the lighthouse?
Bailey is always up for going exploring...she is sending telepathic messages to Henry!
He (son) who hates to have his picture taken...
All around us on the Canadian long weekend, stormy weather prevailed. We were very lucky indeed to be right in between two storm fronts while camping in Muskegon, Michigan. It was sunny and windy with cool temperatures. We only had a little bit of rain while we slept Sunday night.
Highlight of this trip for Michael and Jenny was shopping at Hollister...man that store stinks. As the cashier rings up our purchases, she tries for one last 'add-on': "Would you like to buy some cologne?"
My response: No thanks, the stuff you spray in the store should stay in the fabric for at least four washes!
Currently in the midst of...
- Michael = got braces this month and getting ready to start refrigeration apprenticeship
- Jenny = school, and work, soccer and badminton
- Gillian = work
- Henry = busy with work
